Short Bio
Sammie M. L. Walker Herrera (she/her) is Manager for Integrated Partnerships at the University of Florida’s Career Connections Center. She serves as the embedded Career Coach to the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS). She earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Hispanic Studies from Carnegie Mellon University. She graduated from the Master’s program in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Sammie’s previous role centered around diversity and leadership education. She has also co-presented at the 2018 NASPA Annual Conference on assessment and the 2019 ACPA Convention on moral development research.
